Former radio and television reporter for CNBC, Financial News Network (FNN), WABC Radio, 1010 WINS and WBGO, a National Public Radio station member.

Board member of the National Association of Television Program Executives, the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, The Center for Communication, the American Museum of the Moving Image and Early Stages.
Associate to the Board of Directors of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, and member of New York Women in Film and Television and the Junior League.

As Commissioner of the first film commission in the country, Oliver has spearheaded campaigns designed to bring more film and television crews to the streets of New York. By providing free permits, free public locations and free police assistance, and tax breaks, the commission has lured many productions to New York, creating jobs and aiding the economic health of the city. The Commissioner's latest campaign to entice filmmakers to come to New York is called “Beyond the Skyline,” and highlights little known locations throughout the five boroughs.
