Dr. McWhorter is a Ph.D. in Linguistics from Stanford; the author of 10 books including the best selling and influential “Losing the Race.” He has written scores of Op-Ed's and think pieces on race and culture and is a fixture on television news and radio commentary. His newest book is “All About the Beat: Why Hip-Hop Can't Save Black America.
