She writes and speaks with a woman's perspective, often about civil liberties, or the issue of privacy or the need for social justice. But now, most recently, she has co-authored a memoir with her doctor about chronic illness, “ Dancing at the River's Edge; A Patient and Her Doctor Negotiate a Life With Chronic Illness.”
