Iniciamos en Fort Green, Brooklyn donde conversamos con Alex Rivera, director la película de ciencia ficción "Sleep Dealer". Alex nos cuenta sobre el origen de sus historias y de sus travesías por diferentes géneros narrativos.
 
Después vamos con Carmen Boullosa quien entrevista a Barbara Jacobs, escritora mexicana quien fuera compañera del escritor guatemalteco Augusto Monterroso. La autora de Doce cuentos en contra, Vida con mi amigo y Adiós humanidad nos habla de su pasion por la literatura y por el ensayo como una forma fundamental de la escritura y del intercambio cultural del que ella forma parte.
 
Y finalmente vamos al Lower East Side para encontrarnos con la conocida banda venezolana “Los Amigos Invisibles”, quienes decidieron radicarse en Nueva York durante la última década. “Los Amigos” nos hablan de su historia y nos dejan escuchar su música.
 
We begin this episode in Fort Green, Brooklyn, where we talk to Alex Rivera, director of the sci-fi movie "Sleep Dealer."  He tells us about the origins of his stories and his journey through different narrative genres. 
 
Then, Carmen Boullosa interviews Barbara Jacobs, the Mexican writer who was the companion of Guatemalan writer, Augusto Monterroso.  The author of  "12 cuentos en contra," Vida con mi amigo," and "Adiós, humanidad," tells us about her passion for literature and for the essay as a fundamental writing form, and about the cultural exchange she's a part of.
 
And, finally, we go to the Lower East Side to meet the famous Venezuelan band Los Amigos Invisibles.  They decided to move to New York in the past decade.  They tell us their story and let us listen to their flavorful music.
