The Upper Manhattan Empowerment Zone was created under the Clinton Administration to revitalize distressed communities by using public funds and tax incentives to spur private investment. On this episode, Mr. Knuckles discusses his time in the military during the 1960’s, his early jobs at ConEdison and the Arch Program, his interest in real estate development and investment, his legal understanding in retail law, as well as his rise to becoming CEO and the Upper Manhattan Empowerment Zone.
