Ernest Michel shares his story of being a German Jew sent to Nazi labor camps at age 16, surviving Auschwitz, escaping in 1945, and becoming a reporter at the Nuremburg trials. In his book “Promises To Keep” and over the past 60 years, he has publicly spoken about his history for the United Jewish Appeal-Federation of New York, and eventually became executive vice president.
