John Jay College Professor Baz Dreisinger visited prisons in Rwanda, Thailand, Brazil and six other countries for her just-published book “Incarceration Nations.” When the United States remains the largest jailer in the world, it’s possible we have something to learn. Prof. Dreisinger’s findings are not just data driven but iportrayed through the intimate stories of incarcerated women and men from around the world. Criminal Justice Matters host Stephen Handelman, discusses what she discovered.
