Host James Day interviews Stewart Mott, a philanthropist and social activist. Mott's views and philanthropic tendencies differed greatly from those of his father, Charles Stewart Mott, a mayor of Flint Michigan and a board member of General Motors. Stewart Mott discusses his own support of liberal causes including the Vietnam protest movement, birth control, and the campaigns of several political candidates advocating for reform. He talks about issues of power and accountability in the philanthropic space. Taped at WNET in New York.
