On April 16th of 2000, John Corigliano, one of CUNY’s distinguished professors, was awarded the prestigious Pulitzer Prize for his symphony #2. On this edition of Education Forum, host Herman Badillo, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the City University of New York, welcomes and congratulates Mr. Corigliano. The two men speak about his education in the New York City public schools, the teachers that encouraged him in his career, and about his twenty years with CUNY’s Lehman College.
