Tracey Denton left her job as a private attorney to join up with Howard Dean's campaign for the Democratic presidential nomination. She remains active in Democracy for NYC, which with its parent organization, Democracy for America, evolved from the Dean campaign and works to help citizens become involved in the political process and elect fiscally responsible and progressive candidates to public office in all levels of government. Denton discusses the importance of grassroots organizations, current issues for the DFA, including updating voting systems and increasing registration.
