Episode Details

(Ireland). Us Boys is the story of Ernie and Stewart Morrow and their relationship to the world at the end of their long winding lane in Antrim, Northern Ireland. Both of them bachelors and Protestants, they rarely leave the glen where they live on a family farm 30 miles from Belfast, unaffected by the conflict in the province, existing the way their ancestors did a hundred years ago -- without "the electric," and on a diet of fresh air, hard work, potatoes, white bread, cigarettes and tea. The documentary chronicles the changes brought about when the younger brother dies and the older brother chooses "to go it alone." (Produced by Brian Willis)
