Episode Details

Dr. Bjorn Lomborg is a Danish academic, director of the Copenhagen Consensus Center and author of The Skeptical Environmentalist (2001) and Solutions for the World's Biggest Problems (2007). He is also an Adjunct Professor at Copenhagen Business School. The Skeptical Environmentalist: Measuring the Real State of the World (2001) challenges the notion of a worsening world environmental situation by examining statistical information from a range of environmental problems such as pollution and the greenhouse effect. Lomborg's follow-up Cool It: The Skeptical Environmentalist's Guide to Global Warming (2007) was made into a documentary film that covered his ideas about developing a more realistic environmentalist movement.
