On this special Food Edition of Independent Sources hosted by Sarah Pizon we explore the cross section between ethnic communities and food. We speak to Michaela Angela Davis about her effort to get more black women to eat healthier and exercise. Then we focus on the city’s diversity through food. We highlight the growth of ethnic food trucks by profiling three businesses that can be found on various city street corners. Then we learn about a food tour through Queens that takes participants on a trip of culinary diversity through this ethnically diverse community.
