Dr. Jospeh Scelsa interviews New York State Senator John J. Marchi.  Part I of a two-part interview.

The Coalition of Italo-American Associations holds it’s annual Italian Heritage and Culture month gala at the Waldorf Astoria in Manhattan.  (The event was postponed due to the terrorist attacks of 9/11.) Special guests honored included CUNY Chancellor Mathew Goldstein, Television Personality Kelly Ripa, Tenor Michael Amante, among many.

The City of Naples, Italy honors the New York City Fire Department with an 18th century replica of a Neapolitan crèche.   Three fire helmets were presented to the three wise men during a ceremony at St. Michael’s church in Manhattan in remembrance the firefighters who perished in the September 11th attacks on America.
