This episode honors the craft of Italian shoe repair, with a visit to Italian craftsman Nicola Pecchia at James Custom Shoe Repair. With forty-eight years’ experience, the delightful Nick, as he’s known to loyal customers, reveals some of his secrets.
We’ll hear from author and producer, Suzanne Corso, about her best-selling autobiographical novels, “Brooklyn Story,” “The Suite Life,” and “Hello Hollywood,” her last installment of the trilogy, due out in 2015. We’ll tackle questions of domestic violence, organized crime, and the financial world, as well as falling in love and fulfilling one’s dreams.
Then we’ll walk the walk at New York Fashion Week SS15 with Italian international photographer brothers, Armando and Vincenzo Grillo, who made the leap from their father’s studio in Calabria to the world of fashion in Milan at an early age and have been covering shows there - as well as Paris, London, and New York – for major magazines, ever since.
