This edition: Three Wise Women & Two Women in PsychotherapyTweet
Original tape date: February 27, 2019.
First aired: March 12, 2019.
March is Women’s History Month, and March 8th is universally observed as International Women’s Day. To honor Women’s History Month, we bring to you the epiphany event for the Greater New York Region of the National Organization of Italian American Women (NOIAW).
On January NOIAW honored Three Wise Women: Cav. Maria Teresa Cometto, journalist, author, curator; Laura Mattioli, founder and president of the Center for Italian Modern Art (CIMA); and Dr. Ingrid Rossellini, independent scholar and author.
We also highlighted this month “Italian American Women in Psychotherapy”, an event held at Queens College last November, with Olivia Tursi, a psychological counselor at the Calandra Institute, and Trisha Rossi, psychotherapist and adjunct professor at Suffolk County Community College.
Olivia Tursi also joined us later on the episode.
