In an old district in eastern Cuba, young Sulaidy learns the Tumba Francesa, an old French dance that her ancestors have kept alive from the time they were slaves, hundreds of years ago. Andrea and Flavio are the presidents of the Tumba of Santiago and they take children in hand and teach them to play and to sing, so that the Tumba lives on. The Tumba Francesa has been proclaimed a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity by Unesco. Dir.: Jean Queyrat. (52 min.)
