En este episodio, asistimos a la conferencia sobre raíz Africana en la identidad latina. Es la primera realizada en su genero y fue celebrada en el Centro de Post-graduados de CUNY. Después, Carmen Boullosa recibe en su casa a Esmeralda Santiago, escritora Puertorriqueña que integra su latinidad en el mundo anglo. Posteriormente, vamos a conocer el trabajo de cineastas Quechuas y Aymaras de Bolivia, así como Zapotecos del sur de México, que se han apropiado del cine y lo utilizan como un medio de expresión artística y cultural. Y finalmente, Patricio Lerzundi nos lleva a visitar a Forrest Colburn, Norteamericano especialista en economía y política de las naciones de Centro América.
