In this episode, we begin with Nilko Andreas, a Colombian guitarist and composer, who navigates the world of classical guitar and, at the same time, submerges himself in his country's traditional music. In his work as an interpreter of Colombian rhythms, he rescues musical traditions unknown to New York's audiences.

Then we go to Brooklyn, to meet the singers and composers Sabrina Lastman, Sofía Rei y Sofía Tosello, who chat with Carmen Boullosa about their musical journeys. They are women artists from South America who have created an artistic front in New York so they can perform their own creations.

And, finally, we go to the intimacy of Cecilia Villar Eljuri's home, who after a lengthy career performing in rock bands that filled CBGB's and The Bitter End, has decided to go solo, going more deeply into her Latin roots and Ecuadorian heritage. She traveled to South and Central America, built a recording studio in her home and is composing and arranging songs for En Paz, the new project with which Eljuri is relaunching her artistic career.
