Iniciamos este episodio en el bajo Manhattan. Allí, nos reunimos con un grupo de neoyorquinos hispanos, quienes participan en el movimiento Occupy Wall Street. Desde su perspectiva, entendemos las razones que los motiva para hacer parte de esta protesta.

Más adelante, vamos al Instituto Cervantes donde entrevistamos a William Gordon, escritor de novela negra, quien nos habla de “Duelo en Chinatown”, la mas reciente de sus cinco novelas.

En Brooklyn, Carmen Boullosa entrevista al periodista y escritor colombiano Santiago Gamboa, autor de libros como “Perder es cuestión de método”, “Vida feliz de un joven llamado Esteban” y “Octubre en Pekín”. Gamboa nos habla de viajes, de ciudades y del oficio de escribir.

We begin this episode in Lower Manhattan, where we'll meet a group of Hispanic New Yorkers participating in the Occupy Wall Street movement. They'll give us their perspective so we can understand their reasons for taking part in this protest.

Later, we'll go the Instituto Cervantes where we interview William Gordon, a writer of noir fiction, who tells us about Chinese Jars, the most recent of his five novels.

In the last segment, Carmen Boullosa interviews in Brooklyn the Colombian journalist and writer Santiago Gamboa, author of books like Perder es cuestión de método, Vida feliz de un joven llamado Esteban and Octubre en Pekín. Gamboa talks to us about travel, cities and writing as a profession.
