Iniciamos este episodio en el Spanish Harlem con Aurora Anaya-Cerda quien nos describe los retos que atravesó para abrir La Casa Azul Bookstore, una librería comunitaria enfocada en la cultura Latina.

A continuación, visitamos la Libreria MacNally Jackson en Soho. Allí, Carmen Boullosa entrevista al escritor mexicano Alvaro Enrigue, quien habla de los temas que lo inspiran en Nueva York.

Para finalizar vamos al Museo de Arte Moderno –MoMA, donde Jodi Roberts, curadora asistente de la exposición sobre el muralista mexicano Diego Rivera, nos habla de la historia y el significado de las obras exhibidas.

We begin this episode in Spanish Harlem, with Aurora-Anaya Cerda, who describes for us the challenges she faced while opening the Casa Azul Bookstore, a community bookstore focused on Latin culture.

Then, we visit the McNally and Jackson Bookstore in Soho. There, Carmen Boullosa interviews the Mexican writer Álvaro Enrigue who talks about the themes that inspire him in New York.

To finish up, we go to the Museum of Modern Art, MoMA, where Jodi Roberts, Curatorial Assistant for the exhibition about Mexican muralist Diego Rivera, tells us the history and meaning of the exhibited works.
