Iniciamos este episodio en Brooklyn, durante la temporada de verano de la Fundación de Parques de la Ciudad, en donde encontramos a la cantante de opera Isabel Leonard quien nos cuenta como su latinidad le ha servido para interpretar sus papeles mas dramáticos en este exigente arte.

Mas adelante, durante la feria Expo Book, Carmen Boullosa entrevista a la mexicana Marisol Schulz quien comenta como sus múltiples oficios en el mundo de la literatura se fusionan en su labor como directora de la Feria del Libro de Guadalajara.

Para finalizar, hablamos con el músico cubano Roberto Poveda a quien seguimos durante un concierto en Brooklyn, donde reside actualmente.

We begin this episode in Brooklyn, during the City Parks Foundation's summer season, where we will meet with opera singer Isabel Leonard. She will tell us how her Latin roots have helped her perform dramatic roles in this challenging art form.

Later, at the BookExpo, Carmen Boullosa interview Mexican publisher Marisol Schulz. She tells us how her different role in the world of literature comes together in her work as director of the Guadalajara Book Fair.

Finally, we will speak with Cuban musician Roberto Poveda, whose concert we will attend in Brooklyn, where he currently lives.
