En el Instituto Cervantes, Carmen Boullosa entrevista a este pintor quien es una figura clave del arte abstracto y surrealista latinoamericano. Fernando nos habla de su tiempo en París en los años 40, de su relación con figuras claves de la cultura como Octavio Paz y Mario Vargas Llosa, y de su manera de entender la pintura.

We dedicate this episode to celebrate the life and work of one of the most important artists of our time, the Peruvian Fernando de Szyszlo. At the Cervantes Institute, Carmen Boullosa speaks with this painter and key figure in Latin American abstract and surrealist art. Fernando talks to us about Paris in the 1940s, his relationship with key figures in the cultural world, such as Octavio Paz and Mario Vargas Llosa, and his way of understanding painting.
