Host Sheryl McCarthy sits down to talk with Dr. Tamara Mose Brown, assistant professor at Brooklyn College, about her new book, Raising Brooklyn: Nannies, Childcare, and Caribbeans Creating Community. Dr. Tamara Mose Brown studied her surrounding neighborhoods and the people within them. She set out to find out more about the Caribbean nannies in the community, why they were here, how they got here, as well as the interactions between themselves and their employers' children.
