Mary Brosnahan, president and CEO, of the Coalition for the Homeless, reviews the history of efforts on behalf of the homeless: SRO's, transitional shelters, and the unwieldy, unsafe, large shelters we see today. The hope is to downsize shelters, providing privacy and additional services.
