This edition: Rebecca Traister on Women Taking Action

Episode Details

Original tape date: February 14, 2017.

First aired: February 20, 2017.

The Women’s March, or marches, that followed Donald Trump’s inauguration exceeded all expectations. And people have not stopped protesting since. The role of women in all of those protests, and in official actions pushing back against the excesses of this administration, has been enormous. More than any other time in our history, women are at the center of events shaping the politics and culture of the United States. Bob talks about this and more with guest, Rebecca Traister, a New York magazine writer and author of the book, “ALL THE SINGLE LADIES: Unmarried Women and the Rise of an Independent Nation.”
