Episode Details

Paths of Pollution defines and explains the four mediums -- air, water, soil and biota (living material) -- and presents a case study that demonstrates their interaction. Using PCBs (polychlorinated biphenyls), a once-popular but now banned liquid insulator, learners see how a contaminant can migrate from one compartment to another.
