Semilla Cultural: Semilla Cultural was formed in 2014 by Isha M. Renta to keep the tradition of Puerto Rican bomba music and dance alive and growing. As part of a larger revival of bomba and plena, Semilla Cultural helps members of the diaspora stay connected to an important part of their heritage.

Rodriguez Calero "RoCa": With a career spanning over 25 years, Rodriguez Calero gives insight into her creative process, including her breathtaking work in collage. As the first female Nuyorican artist to receive an in-depth survey show at El Museo del Barrio, Calero is celebrated for the challenging, universal themes in her art.

El Encuentro: In 2016, Centro hosted the first-ever gathering of Puerto Rican LGBT activists, scholars, and leaders as part of a diaspora summit series that began as a response to the economic crisis. El Encuentro focused on the way forward for both the Puerto Rican community and the LGBT community in its ongoing struggle for justice and equality.
