This edition: The Crocodile Dream (Australia)
Initiation is always a powerful time in a young man’s life. So it is, with young Ombee. We travel along with him and his guide, Noel, as Ombee learns to live in the bush by discovering how to respectfully harvest both plants and animals. With each of his mighty steps Juwudu, the great crocodile, created a new part of the world before seeking refuge with the moon. Taking nothing with them, Ombee and Noel follow along this path and encounter sacred plants and animals. Ultimately, the journey ends with Ombee battling a crocodile to prove his strength and taking his place as a chosen one, protecting animals and men from the great immortal crocodile’s rage.
