Next, there is a segment about Carmen Arroyo, the first Puerto Rican woman to be elected to the New York State assembly. Her sojourn through the CUNY system has given her the opportunities needed for her success. A piece on the photonic s work at City College follows. The researchers are designing a way to use light to detect and diagnose cancer. Finally, a CUNY exchange program that takes students to France is presented.
