What do the The 1969-70 NBA Championship Knicks and the 72-73 Queens College Women’s Basketball team have in common? All have been inducted into the New York City Basketball Hall of Fame. On this edition of Study with the Best we’ll reunite 6 members of the historic 72-73 Queens College Women’s basketball team, as they celebrate becoming the first women’s team to be paid NYC Basketball’s highest honor. You’ll dance to the rhythm of Dominican Rock, as we meet a City College alum who is documenting its history. You’ll cheer with the Brooklyn College cheerleading squad as they dust off their pom-poms after a two-decade hiatus. And in her correspondent’s report, Vianora Vinca will stop by the Thomas Hunter Studio Gallery at Hunter College where Mexican artists showcase the sacred art of ceramics.
