Original tape date: December 20, 2009.

On this edition of Study with the Best, we'll take a look at the proposed CUNY School of Public Health, which will focus on developing new ways to control health problems in urban populations while training practitioners to implement these solutions in New York City and other urban centers. We'll speak to a professor at BMCC who is trying to break the barriers to bring more men into the field of early childhood education. We'll learn the art of cooking kosher at Kingsborough Community College. And our correspondent Lisa Beth Kovetz joins a group of CUNY students who bring art to a Bronx elementary school.
