This month, the news magazine show about CUNY looks at athletics across the CUNY spectrum. Starting with the godmother of title IX, Bernice Sanders, a City College alum, the show explores this significant legislation as experienced by our host, Tinabeth Pina. After that, Study With the Best explores a hockey program for disabled kids and teenagers through the mayor’s office and its commissioner, Victor Calise. Then, step behind the microphone with famous New York sports broadcaster Howie Rose. Following this, dive into the pool with York College student and champion swimmer Sandra Shamburger, who used to live in the eastern bloc of Europe in East Germany. The show continues with a profile of boxing photographer Jules Allen.
