Shamanism in New York City is thriving and we look at it through the eyes of the former director of the Center for Alternative Health at LaGuardia Community College. John Jay’s Noe Dinnerstein talks with us about music and spirituality; Reporter Ari Goldberg visits with Doyal Gauranga, a a student at Hunter College and Program Director of the Bhakti Center; and Professor David Orenstein of Medgar Evers College explains what humanism means and its relationship to the New York Society for Ethical Culture.
