Theater Talk welcomes actor Denzel Washington, now starring on Broadway in "A Raisin in the Sun," and Woodie King, Jr., Founder and Artistic Director of the New Federal Theatre, talking about the ongoing impact of this classic play (first produced in 1959). They also reminisce about their early days working together at King's theater where Denzel first achieved major success in the play "When Chickens Come Home to Roost," playing Malcolm X a character he was to recreate ten years later in Spike Lee's film biography of the influential activist.
