Our guest today has been drawing urbane, irreverent cartoons The New Yorker and many other magazines for the past 50 years. He draws cartoons with attitude, steeped in his Brooklyn roots.
Meet Mort Gerberg, cartoonist, but much more. He is also a reporter who brought satiric wit to his sketches on social justice, politics and women's rights long before #metoo.
His extraordinary career is captured in a retrospective called Mort Gerberg Cartoons: A New Yorker's Perspective - now on exhibit at the New York Historical Society.
