“Global Spirit” is a new series from Link TV, with weekly episodes on topics such as The Spiritual Quest, The Journey Towards Oneness, Art and the Creative Spirit, Earth Wisdom and more. Each program features in-depth discussions with knowledgeable guests from around the world, together with compelling film segments or live performances. “Global Spirit” will offer insights into some of mankind's deepest existential questions, tracing our collective human journey in the timeless quest for truth, wisdom and understanding. “Global Spirit” continues in June with CUNY-TV premieres of three long-form programs featuring documentary films and interviews with the filmmakers: “Breaking Bows and Arrows,” “From the Heart of the World: The Elder Brothers' Warning,” and “Rumi, Poet of the Heart.”
June 15 #10: “The Journey Towards Oneness” Guests: Dr. Ravi Ravindra, a physicist with a close association with Krishnamurti and the Gurdjieff teachings; Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee, a Naqshbandi Sufi teacher. Host: Phil Cousineau. (60 min.)
June 22 #5: “Breaking Bows and Arrows” Documentary about a reconciliation ceremony on the island of Bougainville in Papua New Guinea, in which former enemies “break bows and arrows” in a traditional gesture of peace.
